Service Description In this 90-minute course, you will experience a short Butoh demonstration by Daiji Meguro, followed by a warm-up, basic exercises, and an introduction to his choreography method. This is a shorter session designed for beginners or those with limited time. It offers a clear and accessible entry point into Butoh. The workshop is limited to a small group (2–5 participants), allowing time for focused engagement and personal attention. Contents 1. Self-introductions A brief introduction by the instructor and participants. 2. Butoh demonstration A 5-minute demonstration by Daiji Meguro. 3. Warm-up A Butoh warm-up to awaken and prepare the body. 4. Butoh basic exercise This exercise coordinates different parts of the body. By linking them together, movements gradually expand to the whole body. 5. Daiji Meguro's choreography method Using this method, participants create more specific and free movements based on their own experiences, sensitivities, and imagination — rather than relying on difficult techniques. Important notes ・Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement. ・Changing rooms are available, but showers are not. ・Activities are conducted barefoot; no shoes are required. ・The workshop is conducted in English. Participants are welcome to use translation apps if needed. ・Photos and videos may be taken for use on Kyoto Butoh Experience’s website and social media. If you do not want your photo or video to be posted, please let us know before the workshop. ・Recommended for participants aged 7 and above. ・Due to the small group setting, availability is limited. ・Wi-Fi is not available. ・Payment should be made in advance by credit card. Intellectual property rights 5.1 Ownership The intellectual property rights related to this service (Daiji Meguro Butoh demonstration, Butoh Choreography Method) belong to Daiji Meguro and are protected under the copyright laws of Japan and abroad, treaties concerning the rights of authors and related rights, and other laws and regulations related to intellectual property rights (hereinafter referred to as "Relevant Laws"). The intellectual property rights related to this service, which belong to Daiji Meguro, are not licensed for use by users of this service. 5.2 Protection The intellectual property rights related to this service belong to Daiji Meguro and are protected under the Relevant Laws. 5.3 Prohibitions Users must not engage in any acts that infringe on the intellectual property rights related to this service and must comply with applicable laws. 6. Prohibited Actions When using the Service, Users are prohibited from engaging in the following acts or any similar actions: 6.1 Violating the terms of service. 6.2 Violating laws or engaging in criminal activities. 6.3 Performing acts that are deemed inappropriate under social norms. 6.4 Infringing upon intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy, reputation, or other rights and interests of others. 7. Violation of terms If users violate the terms, service may be suspended and, in some cases, legal action may be taken. 8.
