Kyoto Butoh Experience Has Begun!!

On Monday, January 20, 2025, the Kyoto Butoh Experience finally began! The first participant is “G,” who came all the way from San Francisco! Thank you so much!!

G has a background in modern dance and has explored various other dance styles and sports. During the experience , G created a dance piece based on my Butoh Choreography method and performed it solo. In the latter half of the performance, G transitioned into improvisation, showcasing a stunning dance. G is a great improviser!!

If anything, I learned a lot from G instead. Thank you teacher!!!
